Students recognized during the St. John's Sportscare Annual Awards.  Two students from each of the 26 schools around the area were honored, including Jac'cobe Britt from Joplin.  He won the Scholar-Athlete Award.

"I'm incredibly honored," says Britt. "To go on to the next level, it's a huge thing.  To know that there's a responsiblity on me to be a community leader in a way.  I'm now a role model that others can look up to and can set their goals and achieve the same thing.  So, it's a huge honor."

The students were nominated by a Sportscare panel and representatives from their various school districts.
