Names Released: Storm Victims

Authorities have released the names of 14 victims of the deadly tornado that killed 15 people Saturday in southwest Missouri:

Newton County:
Ruby Bilke, Joplin;

Teri Cook, Racine;

Paul Gallemore, Racine

Linda Hasty, Seneca;

Tyler Casey, Seneca

Daniel, Barbara, Jeff and Terrance ``Joe'' Monroe, Newton County

Rockie Peterson, Neosho;

Christine Petree, Morrisville;

Richard, Kathy and Clayton Rountree; Joplin

Barry County:
Kelly Kisper, Purdy

Jasper County officials are still waiting to notify the family of the 16th victim.

In Deleware County:

At a press briefing last night, officials say 20-year-old Samuel Don Berry and his 19-year-old wife, Tracie Dawn, along with 80-year-old Chizuri Cox, 30-year-old Mistie Dawn Kelley and 48-year-old Linda Christine Mathis were killed. They were all residents of Picher.

Also killed was 28-year-old Darrell Edward Patterson the Second of Wagoner, who was visiting friends in Picher when he was killed.

The name of the seventh confirmed fatality wasn't released. That person died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a generator that was turned on in a garage after the storm left power outages in the area. Two other people were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning.
