You could be one of thousands needing cash to recover from the recent flooding across Missouri. Now, you've got options from the Small Business Administration.
The SBA assistance means citizens and businesses qualifying for assistance will have access to low-interest loans to help them recover from the recent flooding and severe weather.
“Many families and small business owners were adversely impacted by the floods. They suffered business losses and experienced the unexpected costs of clean-up, debris removal and other recovery expenses,” Gov. Blunt said. “Small businesses are the engine that drives Missouri’s economy and I am pleased the Small Business Administration has honored my request for this assistance for our small business owners.”
The SBA is offering low interest physical damage and economic injury loans for Andrew, Cass, Greene, Holt, Johnson, Nodaway, Stone, Taney, Vernon and Webster Counties.
The small business agency is also offering low-interest Economic Injury Loans for Atchison, Barry, Barton, Bates, Buchanan, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Henry, Jackson, Laclede, Lafayette, Lawrence, Ozark, Pettis, Polk, St. Clair and Wright Counties.
SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, non-profit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery & equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in the June severe weather and floods.
