City of Refuge Has A New Home

Church members voting in favor of selling their building to the City of Refuge Ministries.  The homeless shelter will now move to the First Baptist Church on S. Pearl in Joplin.  City of Refuge will be buying the church for $600-thousand dollars.  It had been on the market since May of 2003.  All of the ministry's services will move to the new building.  A move date has not been set yet.

Would you buy a SmartCar to save money on gas?
You bet! I heard that little car just got top marks in crash tests.
No way! I don't want to drive a car that looks like it's going to get beat up.
I don't know.... where do I put the wife and kids?
